| One visit | One original coupon |
| Maximum load | 5 x 8-foot trailer equivalent; one tonne |
Who can use the coupons
The program is for Abbotsford residents currently receiving city curbside collection. Proof of residence is required. It covers eligible yard waste, not food waste or commercial landscaping loads.
Six coupons are printed on the first page of the annual curbside guide mailed in early December. Each coupon is non-transferable, has no cash value and must be surrendered at drop-off. Electronic versions and photocopies are not accepted.
Load size and exceptions
A coupon covers a load equivalent to one 5-by 8-foot utility trailer, with a one-tonne maximum. Both size and weight limits apply. Larger-diameter branches or stumps above 15 cm can incur additional charges.
This direct-drop option allows larger yard material to be delivered without cutting it to ordinary curbside dimensions. It does not remove the coupon load limit or the site’s additional charges for specified material.
Replacement and arrival
Only the property owner may request replacement coupons. The city supplies at most one replacement set per calendar year for the property. Call 604-864-5640 or email waste@abbotsford.ca if the guide or coupons are missing.
The official coupon program names one redemption destination: Pacific Coast Renewables Corp.,5050 Gladwin Road. This is not a citywide list of every yard-waste processor. Operating hours and charges outside coupon coverage must be confirmed with the site.
