The complete water-play list

The city names Crossley, Mill Lake, Shadbolt and Spud Murphy. These four entries are the spray/splash subsection of the parks page, not a count of every playground or swimming pool. Centennial Outdoor Pool is a separate facility at the Mill Lake location.

Crossley’s pad is near sports fields and a playground. Mill Lake’s spray park is next to the outdoor pool and has a playground and picnic shelter with water and power. Shadbolt adjoins green space; Spud Murphy adjoins a playground.

Season and address differences

The city’s normal hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a season from the May long weekend, or earlier weather permitting, to the September long weekend. Current closure notices override the normal schedule.

The page gives different addresses in its gallery and splash subsection for Shadbolt and Spud Murphy. This guide uses the water-play subsection’s address, not a general park gallery address. Check the named destination when navigating.

Playgrounds, weather and contacts

The city says it maintains 71 playgrounds across 69 parks, with regular inspections against CSA standards. That service count is distinct from the four water-play entries.

Parks and parking lots can close during bad weather. Major closures are announced on the city website and social channels. Contact Parks, Recreation and Culture at 604-859-3134 about a facility issue.
